Four works to explore.
03 / FROM PLACE TO PIXEL
Preserving
a point of view.
This project traces a path from photographs taken on site to an explorable spatial image. The digital study records the surface, light, and surroundings captured by the camera.
- 01
Capture the place
Overlapping photographs taken with a Canon EOS 80D and a DJI Spark drone document the sculpture and its surroundings.
- 02
Recover the viewpoints
RealityCapture aligns the photographs and reconstructs the camera positions. The outputs are a textured mesh and a COLMAP export for training in Brush.
- 03
Build the spatial image
Brush training and SuperSplat editing prepare the Gaussian splat for presentation.
- 04
Open it to exploration
An SPZ export brings the capture into an interactive web viewer.
